Designer, author, and one of the most recognizable names in British style, India Hicks arrived by train from London for a brunch marking the release of Entertaining with a Side of Chaos.
The morning was built in the spirit of the book itself: a beautiful table, a great deal of conversation, and no pretense that any of it went exactly to plan.

Jane Bertch is the founder of La Cuisine Paris and the author of The French Ingredient — a memoir about making a life in Paris, one lesson at a time.
She hosted our group on the morning of September 17 in the spirit of her own story: intimate, Parisian, and entirely her own.
Our morning began in Saint-Germain-des-Prés at Ralph's — the restaurant inside Ralph Lauren's Left Bank townhouse, and a fitting room for a woman who spent years as one of the house's most recognizable faces. India joined us from London to celebrate Entertaining, with a Side of Chaos, at one long table, over a very good morning.
One of Paris's most beloved and beautiful settings — the Luxembourg Gardens — offered golden afternoon light, classic Parisian architecture, and the kind of effortless elegance that made for truly extraordinary photographs. Our professional Parisian photographer captured individual and group portraits.
